Change Management

In a world of constant change,

Change Management skills are your Secret Weapon

Change Management Series

We’ve all been part of a change that went really well. And we’ve all been part of a change that stumbled and fumbled along—maybe even failed. What’s the difference?

It takes thoughtful leadership to plan and implement a change that will be successfully absorbed into the organization’s culture. In this workshop we’ll look at how to lead your team through successful change—taking into account both the process and the people sides of the transformation and how those aspects intertwine.

This course will prepare leaders to:
• Understand what drives successful change, breaking down the process into repeatable steps.
• Identify and think through the critical decisions that set the stage for successful change.
• Ensure that every member of the organization—from top to bottom—has a clear understanding of how they personally respond to change. And understand how getting “stuck” jeopardizes their own progress and that of the organization.

Embrace Change and Unleash Your Organization's Potential
Our change management series is designed for leaders at all levels who are committed to driving positive change in their organizations. Through a combination of expert instruction and interactive exercises, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills to navigate change effectively and lead your team to success.

Course Agenda

Day 1 (half day):

Leading Change: The Planning that Drives Buy-In

Most organizations spend a lot of time formulating how they’ll execute a planned change—the org charts, the process diagrams, the rollout timelines. But that’s not the first step of introducing change—or the last. By examining case studies of successful and unsuccessful changes, we’ll identify the 5 critical steps that ensure a change is thoroughly considered and executed.

Day 2 (full day):

Executing an Effective Change Plan

On this day we turn theoretical into practical. Using a change at your own organization, you’ll work through a set of valuable tools that will help you analyze impact, create a change plan, and lead a change that sticks.

Based on our proprietary 5-Step Change Process, these activities will help you ensure you don’t miss critical aspects of your change plan. And practicing them with a real-life example will help you apply these steps to any future transformation—for you or for your organization.

Day 3 (full day):

Leading Your Team Through Change

This one is big. Holding individuals accountable for their contributions to the change process is essential for achieving the desired outcomes. In this module, you'll explore the psychology of change and individuals' responses to transitions. Understand the Change Curve to anticipate resistance, recognize your own tendencies for handling change, and support your team members during the change process.

We’ll also address accountability, learning how to set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and address performance issues. Our proven technique for addressing problem behaviors will ensure that everyone is aligned with the organization's goals and moving together towards success.
